The International Festival 'Timisoara Muzicala'

Since 2007 the 'Pro Opera' Society has been supporting each edition of the International Festival 'Timisoara Muzicala'. This major cultural event has been held in Timisoara since 1993. The contribution of the Society members alongside with the support of other sponsors are facilitating the participation in the festival of valuable artists from Romania and from abroad, like:

NELLY MIRICIOIU (soprano, UK), MIROSLAVA YORDANOVA (mezzo-soprano, Bulgaria), MARIANNE CORNETTI (mezzo-soprano, USA), TATIANA LISNIC (soprano, Malta), ELENA MOSUC (soprano, Iasi), JEROME PILLEMENT (conductor, France), GIANCARLO MONSALVE (tenor, Italy), ERNESTO GRISALES (tenor, Spain), ALBERTO RINALDI ( bass-baritone, Italy), CARLOS ALMAGUER (baritone, Spain) etc.
